Born in Guadalajara (Mexico), coach Gabriel has been a professional coach for over 20 years working for Atlas FC youth teams, a first division soccer team in Mexico. He has had the privilege of coaching players such as Rafael Marquez (Mexico World Cup team), Torres Nilo (Mexican National team) and Juan Pablo "Chato" Rodriguez (Mexico National team) among others.
Coach Gabriel is a specialist in developing youth soccer players and he has studied the art of coaching soccer in Mexico, Brazil, Spain and Holland.
Coach Gabriel moved to Mexico two years ago and he is the Director of Training of FC Houston Atlas.

Born in Honduras, Oscar played for Houstonians FC making it to the National Championship game. He coached with Houstonians FC for over 8 years leading several teams to State Championships. Several of his players went on to earn full college scholarships.
Oscar is currently a soccer coach with the Texas Rush Academy U16 team. Oscar currently holds a USSF "A" coaching license.

Born in Peru, Mirko was a professional player for over 20 years and he now has over 10 years of coaching experience in the Houston Area. He has coached multiple teams to state championships and a team to a National championship. He has coached several players that have made it to the professional level and even more have earned soccer scholarships to go to college.
Mirko has coached in several youth soccer clubs around the area including Houstonians FC, Texas Rush, Houston Texans, Fusion SC, etc.

Born in Guadalajara (Mexico), Gabriel played professionally in Mexico's first division for Queretaro, Estudiantes Texas and Atlas FC.
Sergio got his coaching license from Atlas FC in Mexico 3 years ago.
He moved to Houston 2 years ago and is currently a soccer coach for FC Houston Atlas. He enjoys developing youth soccer players.

Born in California, Mr. Zepeda has many years experience with soccer and led the high school team to 3 Houston Championships in the Texas Charter School Academic and Athletic League.

Born in Peru, Mr. Vasquez-Ani moved to the United States in 1986. He has been involved in the administration of youth and adult soccer leagues for over 20 years. He is currently the president and founder of the Inner City Soccer League (a league with over 1,000 youth soccer players).
Mr. Vasquez-Ani holds Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Texas A&M University (1994), a Masters in Business Administration from Monterrey Tech (Mexico, 2003) and a Masters in Real Estate from Texas A&M University (2005). He became a middle school math teacher 2.5 years ago and additionally teaches an engineering class.

Dr. Mercado Garza has been the principal of Southwest Middle and High School for 3 years and she is a huge supporter of extra-curriculum activities.
She has B.S a Interdisciplinary Studies from Abilene Christian University in 1996; a M.Ed., Educational Administration from Texas A&M University in 1999; and a Ph.D., Curriculum & Instruction, Texas A&M University in 2008.
