Saturday May-11, 2013: The tournament is completely full, we cannot accept any more teams. Schedules will be ready by Wednesday May-15.

Wednesday May-8, 2013: Registration is closed now except for a couple of spots, please email us to see if your team is what we need. We cannot accept more teams because we do not have more fields.

Monday May-6, 2013: Registrations for some age groups will be closing tomorrow.

Tuesday 4-30-2013: The tournament is filling-in sooner than expected, therefore we have moved the registration deadline from Wednesday, May 15th to Tuesday, May 7th, 2013.

Sunday, 4-28-2013: Registrations are now Open. We are very close to finish closing registrations since the tournament con only hold 102 youth soccer teams.

Format (Youth and Women): All teams will play two games in the first round. The top teams will advance to the single elimination second round. The tournament in all these age group will last two days.
Deadline to Register a Team: Tueday, May 7th or until the age bracket is full.

Schedules Ready: Tuesday, May 21, 2013

Awards Youth and Women: All players in the 1st and 2nd place team will receive medals and team uniforms. Also, winning team will receive the Alianza CUP.

Referee Fees: None, already included in the tournament fee.

Youth Check-in Instructions:
A) Players do not have to be present at check-in.
B) Check-in table will open at 7:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
C) Except for 8:00 AM games, check-in one hour before your first game.
D) All players must present a copy of their birth certificates.
E) All players must present a current STYSA ID card. In case the STYSA ID card is not available, the player must present an official ID card such school ID, passport, etc.
F) Coaches must fill-in the following form (pages 1 and 2): form. The official roster will be page 3 and all parents must sign the waiver (must be filled-in completely).
G) It is strongly suggested that if a player looks "big" or that the player is "very good" to bring the original birth certificate.
H) Random checks by our tournament staff will take place at any time to check on player's age. Be ready all the time.
I) Blank sticker roster forms will be given to the coaches at check-in. Please fill them in and give them to the referee "before" the games starts.
J) Due the high number of teams participating in the tournament and therefore the high number of fields, half-times will only last 2 minutes in all Saturday and Sunday games.

Format (Men's Division): All teams will play two games in the first round. The top 8 teams will advance to the single elimination Q-Finals. The first round games will be Saturday, the Q-Finals on Sunday and the semi-finals and finals on Monday.
Sueño Professional Tryouts: To be held on Saturday, May 25 at 9:00 AM (sign ups start at 8 AM) at the Houston Amateur Sports Park. This event is open to all players born in the years 1993 to 2000. For more information and to register, click here.

Awards Men: $4,000 for champions, $1,000 for the 2nd place. Additionally, the top 8 teams will receive team uniforms. Also, winning team will receive the Alianza CUP.

Point System: 3 points for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a lost. Tie breakers: Most Points, best goal differential, more goals scored and coin flip.

U18 Division: this will be the High School Division and only players who are in high school may play (may be different high schools). All players must bring their high school ID and no player older than 19 years old may play.

Girls rule: this is a tournament for boys, however girls are eligible to play in any team. Additionally, girls can play one year up. For example, an U11 girl player may in an U10 team.

Proof of Age (Youth Teams): Coaches must have a folder with all the players' copy of birth certificate and a copy of an ID with the player's picture and name on it.

Proof of Identity (women and men): All players must bring a copy and the original official ID such as driver licence, passport, consulate ID, etc.
