Inner City Soccer: New Orleans Cup

Format for COPA "A"
Format: This tournament will have a total of 16 teams
in groups of 4 teams. Each team will play 3 games against each of
the teams in its group. The top 3 teams from each group will advance to the
Round-of-12.
In all rounds, the overall ranking of the teams will be done by
considering all games played, including the playoffs (penalty kicks to
determined a winner do not count towards the overall standings).
Once the teams are ranked, the teams will be paired by the "best team
plays the worst team" format.
For the Q-Finals, the six winners of the Round-of-12 plus the top two
loser teams (accoding to the overall rankings) will advance to the
Q-Finals. Teams will then be also ranked to determine who
plays in the Q-finals semi-finals.
Format for COPA "B"
Format: There will be 12 teams divided in groups of 3. Each team will play
2 games in the first
round. The top 2 teams of each group to the Q-Finals, which will be single elimination.
Once the teams are ranked, the teams will be paired by the "best team
plays the worst team" format. Teams will then be also ranked to
determine who plays in the semi-finals.
